Welcome to our first newsletter of 2023.
AHBRA celebrates its 2nd anniversary this month. The past two years have seen the commencement of all of our legislative powers and functions, the publishing of the Standards for AHBs and associated guidance, the establishment of the AHB Register, the implementation of a Regulatory framework, and the launch of the Annual Monitoring and Pilot Assessment Programmes, among many other key pieces of work.
This year has commenced with AHBRA’s first appearance at the Public Accounts Committee in January. This was a great opportunity to highlight the role of AHBRA and progress with the implementation of our functions since our establishment.
In this issue we provide an update on the Monitoring and Pilot Assessment programmes, our new office location, and current and upcoming vacancies as we look to grow our team. Our website also contains important and up-to-date information, and we encourage you to visit.
Please share the newsletter with colleagues and encourage them to subscribe to our mailing list.
