Three new Board Members appointed to the Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority Board

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage has appointed three new members to the Board of the Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority with effect from 1 October 2025, for a term of four years.

The new members are:

• Sean Cremen
• Nicola Dunleavy
• Kenneth Owens

The appointments have been made in accordance with the Housing (Regulation of Approved Housing Bodies) Act of 2019 and following an open recruitment campaign run by the Public Appointments Service. 

AHBRA’s Board now comprises of four women and six men as follows:

4. Seamus Neely
5. Geraldine Hynes
6. John McCarthy
7. Michael Cameron
8. Sean Cremen
